Recently, featured in The Repository (Canton) was a photograph of his grandfather farming the land on what is now Malone College property. Randy writes that his grandfather was a hard working, very early rising farmer, and loving Christian father.

writes that after 14 years with Colgate-Palmolive Co., he decided to change careers and throw in a little adventure between jobs. On August 20, 2001, he left his hometown of Bloomingdale to walk across America. He reached San Diego in November 2002, after 3,400 miles and several pairs of shoes. Since completing the journey, he has published a book, America, One Step at a Time, about the adventure. He's now working for the Boy Scouts of America and working with his wife on series of hiking and travel books. |

was recently promoted to vice president of marketing and development of Goodwill Industries Rehabilitation Center, Inc, where she began as a job trainer in December 1998. She also served as the chairman of the Goodwill Consumer Advisory Council and teaches Job Seeking Skills. Judith was instrumental in the founding of Community Harvest (a Prepared and Perishable Foods Program) and served as its first President. She is a member of the planning committee of Celebrity Cuisine, the major fundraiser for Community Harvest. She has served on many community boards including Temple Israel, Canton YWCA, Hadassah, and Women's American ORT, and has also worked with Habitat for Humanity. She has held the offices of Treasurer of Temple Israel; and Vice President of the Stark County Hunger Task Force. She is currently the Treasure of Latter Rain Associates, an after-school feeding program. |
