I am beginning my 16th
year in the Admissions Office and can honestly state that I
look forward to coming to work each day. I have been blessed with the unique
opportunity to assist students in the pursuit of their
dreams - I, for one, believe that dreams are still worth pursuing!
In recent weeks, I have
heard from several former Malone College students. One recently returned from
South Africa where she just completed her MS degree in African
Mammalogy;
another recently returned from Tonga, where she and her husband completed a
stint with the Peace Corp; another wrote to tell me of their new ministry as
youth directors in North Carolina; still another has recently completed his
training residency for professional actors at the renowned Steppenwolf Theatre
Company in Chicago; while yet another took the time to email pictures of her
newborn baby to me…each of these (and many more) continue to remind me of the
potential that lies within our current as well as future student body. God
still works in lives and He has a definite plan for each individual…I am
convinced of this!
Sometimes the college search process can be
overwhelming. Keep in mind that I am here for the purpose of assisting you in
making “sense” of this process. God does have a “right” school for you to
