Named in honor of Dr. Everett L. Cattell, a former Malone College President who also spent many years in India as a missionary, the library was built in 1972 and has seating for 295 students. Resources made available to students and faculty include access to leading scholarly databases and over 175,000 book and periodical volumes, 40,700 electronic full-text journals, 685,000 microform units, (including complete ERIC documents microfiche from 1989 to date), over 3,100 music CD's and various multimedia materials. Special features include historical materials from the college's beginnings as the Cleveland Bible College, an extensive collection of religion materials, and the Friends Library, which houses historical and current books and documents related to the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers).
