Students with disabilities at Malone have the responsibility to:
Meet regular admission requirements (minimum scores achieved with or without academic accommodations);
Self-disclose with the Office of Student Access (OSA) as a student with a disability (physical, learning or psychological);
Document that the disability meets all criteria established for a current, functional limitation at the collegiate/university level;
Request academic accommodations and/or auxiliary aids needed prior to the start of each semester;
Deliver accommodation request letters (provided by OSA) to each instructor within the first week of the semester;
Arrange for permitted testing accommodations (extra time, isolation, special assistance) in advance of each exam with the instructor and the testing area;
Continue to meet qualifications and institutional standards (including attendance) for courses, programs, services, jobs, activities and facilities.
