Private Outside Scholarships
Federal regulations require that all scholarships and educational benefit funds be considered a student resource when determining eligibility for need-based financial aid. Students must report the names and amounts of those awards to the Financial Aid Office. To report scholarship and educational benefits, click on Outside Scholarship Report Form. Applying for private outside scholarships will take effort on the student’s part. Private outside scholarship information may now be accessed through www.malone.edu/6186 There are also several websites that offer free assistance with scholarship searches, including www.fastweb.com and www.schoolsoup.com. Students should be warned against scholarship searches that require a fee, credit card number, social security number or a guarantee of award before application has been made. |
