Since its first intercollegiate season in 1966, the Malone men’s soccer program has had its share of success through the years, most notably in the early 1980’s and most recently in the 1990’s under nine-year head coach Sherman Eberly, who directed the team to a 125-87-15 record during his tenure. The squad has competed in numerous NCCAA National Championships and posted a program-best national runner-up finish at the 1994 national event. Former Malone player and Pioneer assistant coach Marquis Walker completed his first season as head coach of the program in 2006 as the Pioneers posted a 7-8-2 record.
