Financial Aid

If you wish to apply for a federal student loan, there are three basic items to complete and submit to begin the process.  We ask that you complete these steps at least four weeks prior to the start of your semester of enrollment.   We have provided links to the necessary items in steps one through three. 
  1. Malone Financial Aid Application
  2. Documentation of tuition reimbursement if you receive it from your employer
  3. Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) using the internet (http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/).  Our Title IV (Federal) school code is 003072.

    If you have filed a FAFSA previously, you can utilize your PIN (personal identification number) to access renewal data online.  The PIN number can be obtained on-line at www.pin.ed.gov/PINWebApp/pinindex.jsp.

Federal Stafford Loans
To complete the process for borrowing Federal Stafford loans, the following is also required:
  • Federal Stafford Loan Entrance Counseling and Master Promissory Note (MPN) - to complete the Stafford Entrance Counseling and MPN, go to www.malone.edu/loancounseling and choose Entrance Counseling and MPN application.
