Commercial Music Technology is an exciting program at Malone College that focuses on today's music. The curriculum demands that interested students learn to master all facets of music technology, recording, song writing, performance, and producing.
The degree is a 4-year program that requires students to play in ensembles, take music theory and keyboard training classes, work on their song writing/composition skills, and learn about all the technologies available to them.
Prospective students interested in this degree should contact Jack Ballard (330) 471-8332 for more information. You may write Mr. Ballard at jballard@malone.edu.
All incoming CMUS majors must take theory and keyboard placement tests. These will be offered on Monday, February 19 and Saturday, March 16, 2007. Theory placement tests and keyboard testing will be offered in Founders Hall. To sign up for each of these placement tests, please call Jack Ballard at (330) 471-8332.
