Bachelor of Arts Degree with a Major in Management
A student must have earned a minimum of 124 semester hours of credit.  The student must meet all general education requirements and successfully complete the curriculum of the Management Program.  Credit requirements based on semester hours include transfer credits (minimum of 60/maximum of 88) from:
  • Accredited (regionally) college course work
  • College Level Examination Program (CLEP) National Testing program for awarding college credit(maximum of 20)
  • Credits recommended by the American Council of Education (ACE) Guides--The Military Guide, The National Guide and other guides.

Malone College reserves the right to set standards which may be higher than those recommended by, ACE, CLEP, or other such agencies.

  • Portfolio, HUM110, 2cr. Potential to generate a Maximum of 28 credits through an assessment of prior learning from work/life experience and technical/professional training. Generated credit applied after 60 credit minimum.

MCMP General Education Requirements for Graduation
In addition to a credit count of 124 semester credits there are some general education requirements students pursuing the management major must meet to fulfill all graduation requirements.  Many of these general education requirements are met by courses in the Management Program.

General education requirements for MCMP students that must be completed outside of the Management Program:

One course from each of the following areas:

  • English composition (Minimum grade of C)
  • Mathematics or proficiency
  • Natural Science

Seven liberal arts courses, in addition to MCMP 410-Capstone in Liberal Arts, must come from at least three of the liberal arts areas listed below:

Fine arts, foreign language, history, literature,  philosophy, psychology, social science, or natural science .  (A second natural science can be used as a liberal arts class.)
