Center for Study and Testing

& The Center for Clinical Learning

Established Fall 1992- Moved to New Facility in Regula Hall in Fall 2007
The School of Nursing has a unique learning resource lab called the Center for Study and Testing (CST). Our focus is academic support and assistance for learning.

The CST has 32 computer stations and 3 video/DVD viewer machines. It also has a Conference/Tutoring room with space for students to study in groups. Students are assigned various computer programs related to the curriculum throughout the program. The CST has a staff comprised of a full time director and 5 additional part time RNs. They will provide tutoring for any nursing course. Tutoring is available at no additional cost to the student. Another special service is the assistance provided to the graduating seniors as they prepare for the NCLEX examination. Computer programs similar to the NCLEX exam are assigned as well as individualized tutoring and testing.

The NSC was used for 7,616 hours in 2005-2006.
