corner alkeneFor those who enter Malone in the fall of an odd year (e.g., 2005, 2007), a typical 4-year program for a chemistry major would loo k like this:

 

Freshman year

Fall:  General Chemistry I and Calculus I

Spring:  General Chemistry II and Calculus II

Sophomore year

Fall:  Organic Chemistry I and Physics I

Spring:  Organic Chemistry II and Physics II

Junior year

Fall:  Inorganic Chemistry and Biochemistry I

Spring:  Biochemistry II and Chemistry Seminar

Senior year

Fall:  Quantitative Analysis and Physical Chemistry I

Spring:  Instrumental Analysis and Physical Chemistry II


For those who enter Malone in the fall of an even year (e.g., 2004, 2006), the course order for the last two years would be reversed.

Junior year

Fall:  Quantitative Analysis and Physical Chemistry I

Spring:  Instrumental Analysis and Physical Chemistry II

Senior year

Fall:  Inorganic Chemistry and Biochemistry I

Spring:  Biochemistry II and Chemistry Seminar
