Disclaimer The paper below is not shown in its entirety and is not intended for a scientific audience. I have included the portions that I believe might be of interest to most, and those wishing to discuss the nuts and bolts of my views on various science/religion topics should contact me directly. In this statement, I have made several general statements regarding the beliefs of Christians and scientists. While these generalizations will misrepresent the beliefs of many members of each group, they accurately reflect the beliefs of many of the scientists and Christians with whom I have had personal contact. My personal integration process strongly reflects my exposure to these two distinct perspectives, but continues to mature as I encounter a wider spectrum of beliefs from both camps. The reader should not assume that my views represent the "official position" of Malone College, nor should the reader assume that all of Malone's science professors have identical views. A Personal Statement on the Integration of my Faith and Learning Basic Integration Concept It is my personal belief that true Christianity and true Science do not, and philosophically cannot yield different conclusions about reality. Pure science and pure religion cannot be at odds. My developing concepts of faith/learning integration currently fall into three different categories: the True Nature of Science, a Biblical Perspective of Faith, and the Rationalization of Apparent Science/Religion Conflicts.
