Transfer and Part-Time Student Orientation

The Transfer Team has given special consideration in planning orientation for the new transfer student.  Realizing that this is not the first college experience for them,  transfer students are required to attend most of New Student Orientation.  At an informational session, a panel of current students who have transferred to Malone will address questions and concerns.  A taco dinner, fun trips; which include visiting The Professional Football Hall of Fame, canoeing and a tour of Harry London’s Chocolate Factory.

Wednesday, August 20 - 24, 2008

Orientation is required for all full-time, part-time and transfer students new to Malone College.Your College Experience Class (GEN 100) will begin on Wednesday, August 20 and continue through Fall Semester.  As a part of Orientation there will be many opportunities for you to become acquainted with other new students. 

A detailed Orientation brochure will be mailed to you at the end of July.  Complete Orientation information will be available as you check-in at the Randall Campus Center. All students (residential, commuter and part-time) must check-in on Wednesday, August 20. To help you plan your arrival time, note the following:

  • Check-In for Resident and Commuter Students:  8:00am – 11:00am, Wednesday, August 20
  • Residential students will move into their hall after Check-In.
  • Commuter students will meet for the first time from 11:00am – 12:00 noon, Wednesday, August 20
  • Parents are invited to participate in Orientation through 5:00pm, Wednesday, August 20
