Malone Alumni Women's Committee

History
First started in 1976, the Malone Alumni Women's Club recommended and planned programs to provide fellowship and service opportunities for alumni women. In 2001, the club was renamed "Malone Alumni Women's Committee."  The group has been responsible for many service projects through the years, raising money to fund projects via the annual craft show, Peddler's Loft. Completed projects include:
  • Women's residence hall accessories
  • Music room renovation
  • Cafeteria renovation
  • M 1000 pledges (now President's Circle)
  • Weaver Child Development Center scholarship
  • Donations to Malone Theatre Department
  • Osborne Hall Lounge Renovation
  • Campus Sign renewal project
  • Founders Hall main lobby renovation and refurbishing
  • Centennial Celebration floral arrangements
  • First impression campaign - Paving square (M)
  • Alumni Round Room renovation
