Church Matching Grant

Any Church or Christian Organization may provide a grant for students.  Here are some guidelines to follow in order to qualify for the M.A. in Christian Ministries Church Matching Grant Program.
  1. The student must be enrolled in at least six credit hours for the semester and in academic good standing in the Master of Arts in Christian Ministries program.
  2. The student is eligible for the Church Matching Grant for only three credit hours per semester.
  3. An application must be submitted by the Church or Christian Organization and signed by the pastor, treasurer, or financial representative.
  4. The sponsoring Church or Christian Organization must agree to pay at least one-third of the tuition for three credit hours.
  5. The student must agree to pay at least one-third of the tuition for three credit hours.
  6. Malone College will be responsible to match the sponsor's funding not to exceed one-third of the tuition for three credit hours.
  7. Application (pdf) and check (payable to Malone College, not student) must be received by Graduate School Office.
How this works:

In a semester, if a student in good standing is enrolled in 6 semester hours, then Malone College will pay for one credit hour (of six hours) provided that a Church or Christian Organization is matching at least one credit hour (of six hours).  The student is required to supplement the tuition balance that is not covered by the Church or Christian Organization.  Malone College will only match one credit hour of tuition even if the Church or Christian Organization gives an additional amount toward a student's tuition.
