Rae Showen is in her tenth year serving as the Director of Student Activities at Malone College, and has been a part of the Malone Community for 14 years. Her responsibilities include advising SAC (Student Activities Council ) and the Commuter Director, EPIC Leaders, O-Council, and Malone Madness.  She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Secondary Education: English and Speech at Fairmont State College and her Masters Degree in Communication Studies at West Virginia University.

Rae Showen and her husband, Scott, are in their 21st year of marriage.  They have one son, Thomas, age 13.5. The Showen family enjoys being involved in a variety of Campus events.  Rae is also the author of Hi, I'm Tommy's Mom; a Sweet Simple Book about LIfe and Little League Baseball, published in 2006 by Tate Publishing.
