Sandy Johnson brings almost 30 years of experience to the area of Student Development.  She serves as the Director of Orientation and Special Programs.  Johnson currently is responsible for a comprehensive orientation which combines academics and social programs for more than 500 new students each fall. The special programs area is one in which Malone is a pioneer.  These programs include:  Wellness, Women’s Health issues, Women’s History, Parents Weekend, Senior Banquet, Faculty/Staff Health Luncheons, The Staley Distinguished Christian Scholar Lecture Series, and one of the most significant programs, the Worldview Forum Series.  More information is available on these programs by clicking on the specific area of interest on the Student Development home page.  Johnson serves as the advisor to the Student Directors of Communications and Administration.  Along with these responsibilities she also advises the junior and senior classes and serves on the Chapel Committee.
