As Forensic Chemistry major you will acquire a knowledge of the growing fields of science and mathematics, an appreciation of the methods by which such knowledge is obtained and classified, increased skills and problem solving related to scientific inquiry, and a sense of moral responsibility and stewardship.  You will become acquainted with the types of crime scene evidence that are useful to forensic chemists and the techniques used to analyze this evidence.  Acceptable methods for collecting and handling evidence that will be admitted into court arguments will be presented.
