Then on Saturday, the team split a pair of conference match-ups at Seton Hill (PA) University, taking game one 7-5 in eight innings before falling by a 2-1 score in game two. A pair of home games slated for last Friday against Seton Hill was postponed due to threatening weather and rescheduled for this Monday (4/10) at 1:00 p.m. With yet another successful week (3-1 record), the Pioneers improved their overall record to 26-7 with a 10-4 mark in the AMC North Division. Following last Tuesday’s doubleheader, it was announced that after two consecutive weeks of being ranked at number 19 in the NAIA’s top 25 poll, the Pioneers jumped up two spots and are currently ranked 17th in the nation (ratings announced each Wednesday).
