    Eight Malone College softball players earned postseason accolades in recent American Mideast Conference and NCCAA East Region voting.  Senior first baseman Sarah Sweitzer (New Philadelphia H.S.) earned All-AMC South First Team and NCCAA East All-Region honors while senior pitcher Heather Jones (Lexington H.S.) was named to the All-AMC South Second Team and NCCAA East All-Region Team.  Sophomore second baseman Holly Christopher (Garfield H.S.) earned All-AMC South Second Team honors while sophomore infielder Kathryn Bzdafka (Avon Lake H.S.) received All-AMC South Honorable Mention and NCCAA East All-Region accolades.  Sophomore third baseman Kristen Cochran (Newcomerstown H.S.) and senior catcher Katie Green (Oak Harbor H.S.) were each named to both the All-AMC South Honorable Mention and NCCAA East All-Region Honorable Mention Teams while sophomore outfielder Ashlee Locker (Strasburg H.S.) and senior pitcher Cori Helm (East Brook H.S.) each received NCCAA East All-Region Honorable Mention honors.
