Geoff Bowden

Assistant Professor of Political Science

Geoff Bowden is Assistant Professor of Political Science at Malone College.  His teaching areas are Political Theory and American Government.  His research and writing areas are at the intersection of ethics, religion, and politics, particularly Christian ethics and political theology.
 
Professor Bowden has a B.A. from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in religious studies, a M.Div. from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a M.A. and Ph.D. in political theory from the University of Notre Dame.
 
Professor Bowden is married and has three children.  His family attends First Mennonite Church of Canton, Ohio.
