Mike is one of the most athletic members of the team…He is very good technically with very quick hands…He has been the starting keeper since the start of his sophomore season.

College

Junior (2006): Mike was the teams highest award getter last season…He earned All American Mid East Conference 2^nd team and All East Region NCCAA Team…He was vote unanimously by his peers for the Team Most Valuable Player…He appeared in 15 games for a total of 1,514 minutes posting 91 saves.

Sophomore (2005): Started every game for the Pioneers posting 131 Saves and one shutout.

Freshman (2004): Appeared in eight games off the bench four times as a forward and five times in goal.

High School & Club: Mike and to be the teams Captain for the 2007 season…Mike has been the starting for the past two seasons…He is a diligent leader both on and off of the field.

Personal: Mike is the son of Peggy and Kenneth Porter…Mike has two sisters Julie and Mary Jo…Sports Management major
