College: (2003-2006): Lucas joined the Pioneers this past spring as a transfer student from NCAA Division 1, Buffalo University where he played the last three seasons…While at Buffalo Lucas earned significant playing time in their midfield…Lucas has made an immediate impact in this years squad by earning the respect and confidence of his new team mates…In doing so he was voted to be a team captain for the 2007 season.
High School/Club: Lucas played for coach George Stevens at Howland High School where he earned numerous post season honors including: 3rd Team All-Ohio, 2x 1st team All-County, 2x 1st Team All-District, 2x 1st Team All-Conference. Lucas played his club ball with the Cleveland International soccer club for three years and spent one year with their men’s team in the PDL. Personal: Lucas is a very good student in the classroom…He was a member of the National Honor Society while in high school…He continued his academic standards in college making the deans list three times…Lucas is the son of Wayne and Tina Matorana-Moore…Lucas as three sisters Celisa, Britany, and Shannon…Mathematics major
