Lori Wynn begins her fifth season as head coach of the Malone women’s basketball program after 14 years of collegiate coaching experience to her credit, eight seasons of which have come as a head coach.
Wynn had served as an assistant women’s basketball coach at Taylor (IN) University for two seasons just prior to coming to Malone. Before that, she was the head coach at Grace (IN) College for two seasons. In addition, she was an assistant coach at Baptist Bible (PA) College from 1997-99 and an assistant at Appalachian State (NC) University from 1996-97 after serving as head coach of Nyack (NY) College from 1993-96.
Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Wynn is a 1992 graduate of Houghton (NY) College, having earned a B.S. in Physical Education. She also earned an M.E.D. in Health and Physical Education from East Stroudsburg State (PA) University in 2001.
In addition to her coaching duties, Wynn also serves as an associate athletic director. In her spare time, she enjoys running and reading and also likes most outdoor sports and recreational activities. Wynn resides in Canton.
“I’m really excited for the opportunity to be a part of the Athletic Department and HHP Department at Malone College and to lead the women’s basketball program,” said Wynn. “I’m also excited for the chance to positively influence the lives of students and student-athletes at Malone and the women’s basketball team in particular.”
