• Go to OPAL (Malone Catalog) and limit to Malone or search all of OPAL for access to the entire consortium of 21 private Ohio college libraries that share resources.
• Netlibrary - ebooks online. First time users must set up an account (similar to setting up a Yahoo account) 
• Take your search statewide with OhioLINK (consortium of 85 Ohio colleges and universities)
• Electronic reference books

• OhioLINK Quick Search to search combinations of 3 or 4 indexes grouped by subject.

• OhioLINK databases = the most comprehensive list
• Electronic Journal Center (recent publications last 5-8 years)
• JSTOR (archive – does not include issues for the last five years)
• Research Databases – list of all the databases Malone provides access to

• Online - in most OhioLINK databases, look for Find a copy to see if full text is available.
• In many others, click on full text if available. (Note: citation=information necessary to locate the article. Abstract=citation + article summary. Full text = citation + complete article)
• Journal finder – type in the title of the journal

Find audiovisual materials

• OPAL Malone catalog – keyword or subject search your topic then select “modify search” then select “audiovisual” from the material type pull down
• OhioLINK Digital Media Center

• Consult the grey books (Searials Holdings List) available in the library to make sure it isn’t something we subscribe to in print. It’s possible to scan articles in the library and email them to yourself free of charge.
• Ask for an inter-library loan form and our librarians will work their magic to have the article delivered to the library in a few days.

• Search OhioLINK for materials at colleges throughout Ohio
• WorldCat – zip code feature ranks items at locations closest to you
• Ask about our pick-up anywhere service

• OhioLINK databases then select Learning Express 
• Click on new user and create your own user name and password
