Ron Johnson, Ph.D., the College's eleventh president, has been at Malone College since 1970, and has served as president since 1994. During Johnson’s 25 years of administrative leadership, Malone College has experienced unprecedented growth and development in academics, the number of students in attendance, and campus acreage. Buildings developed during his time as president include Mitchell Hall, Haviland Hall, additions to Brehme Centennial Center, and a new building for the School of Nursing (an addition to Mitchell Hall). Malone also purchased First Christian Church at 2600 Cleveland Avenue, which was named the Johnson Center for Worship and the Fine Arts upon announcement of Ron's retirement.
