Nicole Lecon

 
 
 
    Nicole Lecon, of Dalton and a 2008 graduate of Dalton High School , has recently signed a national letter of intent to attend Malone College this fall and to play volleyball for the Pioneers. The 5’8” libero and defensive specialist was a four-year letter winner in volleyball, a two-year letter winner in softball and a one-year letter winner in basketball at Dalton.
            Lecon led her team to a sectional and district championship. In Lecon’s sophomore year, she helped her to team to a WCAL championship and regional runner-up finish. Lecon’s list of accomplishments includes being named a state representative for Division IV in 2007 and being named First Team All-League and First Team All County in 2006 and 2007.  In addition, she was voted First Team All District in 2007 and was named the District Player of the Year in 2006.   A four-year varsity starter, she was also named Second Team All County in 2005.  In addition, Lecon has played for the Kidron Volleyball Club.

           

            Lecon, an Honor Roll recipient at Dalton , intends to major in Exercise Science at Malone.  She is the daughter of Frank and Diane Lecon.
