Are the workshops approved by the state for re-certifying/licensing?
Malone is authorized by the Ohio Board of Regents and has approval from the Ohio Department of Education to offer workshops for graduate credit.
Will LPDC approve the workshops?
The workshops are “high quality” and align with the NCLB standards and mandates. Each student should check with their LPDC to confirm a fit with their individual professional development plan.
Are the workshops for graduate credit? Are the credits semester or quarter hours? Are letter grades assigned?
The workshops are for graduate credit based on semester hours.
When are the grade reports sent?
Upon successful completion of a workshop, grades are issued within two weeks.
How do I obtain a transcript?

Where are the workshop classrooms?
Depending upon the nature of the workshop, classrooms used are in Mitchell Hall, Founders Hall, Catell Library, Osborne Hall, or the Johnson Center. See campus map.
Fall & Spring: times vary; Summer: 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
There is no application fee. Check workshop description for a materials or book cost. Books are available in the college bookstore. The bookstore is located in Brehme Centennial Center.
What needs to be submitted to enroll in a workshop?
One form – Application/Registration form.
