Malone Athletic Teams Win! In fact, the Malone College men's athletic program won the 2006-2007 American Mideast Conference All-Sports Award, which takes into account a school’s overall performance in the seven AMC men's championship sports, while the Pioneer women's program finished third (taking into account the eight AMC women’s championship sports).
In the nine-year history of the American Mideast Conference All-Sports Competition, Malone has consistently dominated both the men’s and women’s divisions of the All-Sports Award by collecting six men's first-place finishes and four women's first-place finishes. Malone’s outstanding programs have even finished as high as second nationally in the NAIA All Sports standings (men’s in 1989-90) and have been ranked in the top twenty-five nationally in nearly each of the last 20 years. We even placed 5th in the NAIA Sears Directors' Cup standings (among over 300 schools) for the 2001-2002 year. And we continue to win! That’s great for the school and for you. Yet you win at Malone in other, more important ways. Malone coaches know that quality athletic training brings you discipline, motivation, self-esteem – things you’ll use off the field in your future career. Winning and personal excellence go hand in hand at Malone, where you receive individual attention, national recognition and access to professionals. |
