- Graduates in English and Integrated Arts have gone on to careers as varied as book publishing, library work, ministry, Peace Corps, customer relations, and law.
- The English major offers excellent preparation for graduate school, such as law, medicine, fine arts, library science, or English.

Courses and classroom activities are only a part of a student's experience at Malone College. There are many opportunities for students to participate in many activities. You can:
- write for and edit the student publications, including From the Catacombs (literary magazine), Philos (yearbook), and The Aviso (newspaper).
- attend and participate in creative readings.
- listen to visiting writers and lecturers.
- work as tutors in the Malone College Writing Center.
- attend Christianity and Literature Conferences and other scholarly events.
- take a fall trip to The Stratford/Shaw Theater Festivals and earn academic credit.
- travel and study abroad through CCCU programs.
- develop internships for practical experience.
