Set in a 1950's diner, the plot centers around Uncle Phil and his wait staff as they eagerly anticipate the arrival of the evening's entertainment--a band called The Desotos. As it becomes increasingly apparent that the Desotos may never show up, the waiters & D.J. attempt to keep the audience entertained.
