Tiffin Tops Malone 7-0

The Malone College men’s soccer team suffered a 7-0 defeat at NCAA Division II Tiffin University on Tuesday afternoon.  The host Dragons grabbed an early 1-0 advantage with a score in the fifth minute of play and then added three more goals over the final eight minutes of the first half to take a commanding 4-0 lead at intermission.  Tiffin then tacked on three more goals in the second half en route to the convincing 7-0 win.  Following the non-conference loss, the Pioneers’ overall record drops to 5-9-1 (1-2-0 AMC N) while the Dragons improve to 9-5-1 on the season.
