Celia King, Director of Service Learning, and Matt Phelps will facilitate a workshop aimed at encouraging faculty to experiment with service-learning pedagogy in their courses. The event will focus on definitions of service-learning and descriptions of what some of our colleagues are already doing in this area. Participants will be provided with a handout of recommended print and web resources. In addition, this event will serve as a springboard for the formation of a faculty learning community focused on service-learning pedagogy.
