Pioneers To Face Point Park (PA), Mount Vernon Nazarene In AMC/NAIA Region IX Tournament Pool Play

The Malone College volleyball team will open the American Mideast Conference/NAIA Region IX Tournament at Mount Vernon Nazarne University on Friday afternoon with pool play matches against AMC North Division #3 seed Point Park (PA) University at 1:15 p.m. and AMC South Division #1 seed (and tournament host) Mount Vernon Nazarene at 3:30 p.m.

The six-team field is divided into a pair of three-team pools. The top two teams from each pool will advance to the AMC/NAIA Region IX Tournament semifinals on Saturday. The Tournament Champion will receive an automatic berth into the NAIA National Tournament that will be hosted by Columbia College in Columbia, Missouri on November 28-December 1.
