Position: Full-time faculty position, tenure-track at assistant or associate professor level
Starting Date: August, 2008
PhD at time of appointment is necessary. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching introductory courses in Biology to majors and non-majors and upper level courses in molecular biology and other upper level elective courses which fall under the interest of the candidate. Responsibilities also include advising majors, and supervising student research. In addition to academic qualifications other important qualities that a successful candidate should possess are a mature, strong Christian faith, ability to work well with others, and a commitment to helping develop character as well as academic strength in undergraduate students.

Department Information
The Biology program is part of the Natural Sciences department in the School of Arts and Sciences. In addition to a major and minor, the Biology program offers support courses for a number of other college majors.
Malone College
Malone College is a Christian College for the Arts, Sciences, and Professions, affiliated with the Evangelical Friends Church-Eastern Region. The College has enjoyed significant growth in student enrollments, programs, physical facilities and financial position in the last two decades. Total enrollment is approximately 2400 students, with 1500 full-time undergraduates as well as adult degree-completion programs and graduate programs.
