Associate Dean, Student Development

The Associate Dean of Student Development is responsible for promoting a sense of community and fostering an environment for holistic growth in residence halls by implementing, evaluating the operational aspects of the Residence Life program. Malone College currently houses 1000 students (600 female; 400 male).  Overall responsibilities include assisting in the development of programs and efforts in various areas that promote growth and development and result in increased retention of residential students and academic success.  Specific responsibilities are listed below and will be described in detail for those expressing interest.

A.   Staff Supervision.
B.   Housing and Residence Facility Management.
C.   Administrative Leadership & Developmental Responsibilities.
D.   Assist the V.P. for Student Development in all areas of central office management.
E.   Support the overall goals of Malone College in the Student Development Dept.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Higher Education, Student Personnel, Counseling, or other related field
  • Minimum three years experience in a higher education setting
  • An active Christian faith and ability to share that faith with others through your work
Application Process:   Start date is July 1, 2008.  Candidates must submit resume, cover letter, three professional references, and a Statement of Faith.
