St. Thomas Aquinas’ Tony Migliozzi To Run Cross Country, Track At Malone College

Tony Migliozzi, of Louisville and a 2008 graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High School, has recently signed a national letter of intent to attend Malone College this fall and run cross country and track for the school.

Migliozzi, a four-year letterman in both cross country and track, has a personal-best time of 15:47 in the 5K and a PR of 9:39 in the 2 mile.  He has a two-mile goal of 9:18.

“Malone was a natural fit for Tony,” said St. Thomas Aquinas head coach Matt Reneker.  “The university offers a strong spiritual atmosphere, an awesome academic environment and a stunning running program that fits Tony’s needs and desires.  We’re proud that the best runner in Aquinas history is running for the best team in the nation.”

“We’re excited to have Tony coming to Malone,” said Malone head coach Jack Hazen.  “He is an outstanding athlete who will make a great addition to our team.”

Migliozzi is currently undecided as to a major at Malone.  He is the son of Larry Miller and of Cheryl Werner of 6080 Holderman Ave., Louisville.
