Post Secondary Program

Post Secondary Enrollment Options
Malone College participates in the Post Secondary Enrollment Options Program.  Each year the college enrolls students from high schools throughout the state as part-time and full-time Malone students.  The PSE Coordinator is Anissa Scott, and she can be contacted by phone (330-471-8153) or email (ascott@malone.edu).

  5. Accepted students will then meet with Advising and Testing to schedule their classes.  Please make your appointment through the Admissions office.
  6. Entry into the program is not considered complete until the student is officially registered for classes.
  7. We accept a limited number of students each year: juniors are limited to part-time, while seniors can choose full or part-time status.
Student Participation at Malone
Students admitted under this program are treated as typical Malone freshmen.  This means they are eligible to participate in most extra-curricular activities.  However, they cannot compete in intercollegiate athletics.
These students will be advised by the office of Advising and Testing and their course selection will be determined to meet their high school graduation requirements.  Where possible, courses selected to meet high school requirements will also meet typical Malone freshmen requirements.  Since each high school and each student program is unique, Advising and Testing will work closely with students throughout their participation in the program.

Finances
Students under this program are released from fees including the application fee, tuition, special course fees (such as lab fees), and the cost of required textbooks.  However, the student is expected to pay for incidental supplies (paper, pens, etc), fees for private lessons and fees related tro special courses as well as the student activitiy fee and the parking permit.  These students are not eligible for financial aid.  Required textbooks are provided by Malone but remain the property of the college and must be returned.  Students may purchase the textbooks if they so desire.
