The Malone College School of Education’s Center for
Professional Development presents its third annual Literacy Celebration
featuring popular children’s author, Jerry Pallotta, Saturday, March 29, in the
Johnson Center
for Worship and the Fine Arts, 2600
Cleveland Avenue N.W. in Canton.

Registration and coffee begin at 7:30 a.m.; program
runs from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. The day is
designed for elementary school teachers, early
childhood teachers,
intervention specialists, administrators, support staff,
and librarians. The fee of $50 includes continental breakfast,
lunch, and handouts. One hour of

Jerry Pallotta is the author of 50
children’s books, including The Icky Bug Alphabet
Book and The Bird Alphabet Book,
voted one of the best books of the year by Birders World magazine. He is known for producing interesting,
fact-filled, fun to read, beautifully illustrated color children's books and
visits more than 150 schools annually.
Featured books will be available for purchase and autograph signing at
