Third Annual Literacy Celebration

The Malone College School of Education’s Center for Professional Development presents its third annual Literacy Celebration featuring popular children’s author, Jerry Pallotta, Saturday, March 29, in the Johnson Center for Worship and the Fine Arts, 2600 Cleveland Avenue N.W. in Canton.  For more information, call 330-471-8593 or 800-257-4723 ext. 8593.
 
Registration and coffee begin at 7:30 a.m.; program runs from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.  The day is designed for elementary school teachers, early childhood teachers, intervention specialists, administrators, support staff, and librarians.  The fee of $50 includes continental breakfast, lunch, and handouts.  One hour of graduate credit available with attendance and additional assignment.  To register, download the form at www.malone.edu/cpd and mail it by March 21 to: Center for Professional Development Malone College 515 25th Street NW

Jerry Pallotta is the author of 50 children’s books, including The Icky Bug Alphabet Book and The Bird Alphabet Book, voted one of the best books of the year by Birders World magazine.  He is known for producing interesting, fact-filled, fun to read, beautifully illustrated color children's books and visits more than 150 schools annually.  Featured books will be available for purchase and autograph signing at the Malone conference.
