Dalton’s Nicole Lecon To Play Volleyball For Malone College
Nicole Lecon, of
Dalton
and a 2008 graduate of
Dalton
High School
, has recently signed a national letter of intent to attend
Malone
College
this fall and to play volleyball for the Pioneers. The 5’8” libero and defensive specialist was a four-year letter winner in volleyball, a two-year letter winner in softball and a one-year letter winner in basketball at
Dalton.
Lecon led her team to a sectional and district championship. In Lecon’s sophomore year, she helped her to team to a WCAL championship and regional runner-up finish. Lecon’s list of accomplishments includes being named a state representative for Division IV in 2007 and being named First Team All-League and

in 2006 and 2007. In addition, she was voted First Team All District in 2007 and was named the District Player of the Year in 2006. A four-year varsity starter, she was also named
Second
Team
All
County
in 2005. In addition, Lecon has played for the Kidron Volleyball Club.
Lecon, an Honor Roll recipient at
Dalton
, intends to major in Exercise Science at Malone. She is the daughter of Frank and Diane Lecon of 18321 Burkhart Rd., Dalton.
