Malone College baseball will hold its annual Bob Starcher Memorial Day on Saturday, April 12th at Thurman Munson Stadium, which is the site for all 2008 Malone home baseball games, in honor of the late former Malone baseball head coach.  Malone will host Notre Dame (OH) College in a doubleheader beginning at 1:00 p.m.   A ceremonial first pitch will be thrown at 12:30 p.m. by Diane (Starcher) Merritt.  Also, the winner of the Bob Starcher Memorial Scholarship (a junior on the Malone baseball team) will be announced prior to game one. 

 

In addition, all former Malone baseball players who are in attendance prior to game one -- at approximately 12:35 p.m. -- will be invited to come down on the field to be recognized.
