Malone Finishes Ninth At Allegheny Invitational

The Malone University women’s golf team finished ninth among a ten-team tournament field at the Allegheny (PA) College Invitational last Thursday. The Pioneers posted a total score of 387 as Allegheny took the team title with a score of 325.  Ohio Northern University was second (344), Gannon (PA) University and Alleghany “B” tied for third (348) and Walsh University rounded out the top five at 349.

Malone was led by junior Jen Blocker (Westerville H.S.) who finished 20th overall with a score of 89.  Other Malone scores included Alyssa Westfall (So., Ashland H.S.) in 35th at 94, Elena Duncan (Jr., Winona Lake, IN.) in 40th at 97, Sarah Ramsey (Jr. Kenton Ridge H.S.) in 48th at 107 and Kahle Bryant (Fr., Westerville North H.S.) in 54th at 116.
