College of Theology, Arts, and Sciences
Welcome to the College of Theology, Arts, and Sciences! It's my pleasure to serve you and our fine faculty.
The College of Theology, Arts, and Sciences is, by any measure, Malone's largest academic unit, comprising more than half of the University's faculty and incorporating disciplines from Chemistry to Visual Art. More than 50 percent of Malone's traditional undergraduate population takes a major in one of the College's subject areas.
The College's size provides it with the resources to meet student learning needs, but belies a remarkable intimacy that exists within each of its academic departments. Its individual faculty members prize collaboration, both among themselves and with students. They value mentored undergraduate research, and emphasize seminar style teaching in which students are invited to take an active role in their own learning process. Most importantly, however, they are people who believe deeply that Christians are called to love God with their minds. They live out this conviction every day with deep joy.
Take some time today to learn more about whether this exciting group of Christian scholars is a good match for your goals and interests.
