Writing minor
Expand your writing repertoire by taking courses in English composition, professional writing, expository writing, creative writing, scriptwriting, magazine and nonfiction writing, and editing.
Writing is a relatively new minor at Malone – and is in process of becoming a major. Adding this minor to your major will be greatly benefit whatever else you choose to study.

- ENG 311 - Expository Writing
- ENG 314 - Creative Writing: (Genre)
- THEA 431 - Scriptwriting
One upper-level literature course chosen from among:
- ENG 322 - World Literature
- ENG 352 - Shakespeare
- ENG 360 - Genre Studies
- ENG 365 - Author Studies
- ENG 390 - African American Literature and Culture
- ENG 395 - Women Writers
