Musical knowledge is important to a well-rounded education. Learning to play a musical instrument develops six qualities: concentration, coordination, precision, perseverance, mental discipline, teamwork and cooperation.
Albert Einstein said, “Children should be exposed to music. Its appreciation requires a long unhurried growth which has little to do with our speedy age where momentum is often substituted for maturity."
The study of music provides the development of self-discipline and learning music is a life-long skill which can be enjoyed by children and adults.
