Planning for Pre-Registration Information

  • Review schedule of classes for new semester (available shortly) 
  • Review your mid-semester grade report
    • May need to have alternate plan if doing poorly in a course
    • Available on MaloneXpress
  • Review degree audit and report any discrepancies. Find degree audit under MaloneXpress/ Academic Advising/Degree Audit Portal/Detailed Degree Audit  
  • Select classes prior to advising
  • Write out proposed schedule and review for any time/day conflicts
    • Time conflicts must be approved by professor in writing
  • Review Academic Advising Policy
  • Review course descriptions for prerequisites
  • Schedule appointment with your adviser
