health ed

Join a growing industry and become prepared for careers in health promotion, community health, public health, international health, and wellness.

Our student learning outcomes are based around the Seven National Competencies for Health Education Specialists, and in recent years, we've had a 100 % pass rate on the Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) exam. You'll have opportunities for hands-on experience through excellent internships and be taught only by professors who have earned doctorate degrees. A degree in Community and Public Health Promotion prepares you for entry-level work as a Certified Health Specialist or for graduate school work in health-related fields.

Also see below requirements for a Community and Public Health Promotion Minor.
