Do you feel called to work with junior high and high school students?
Malone's Youth Ministry program will sharpen your gifts and help you communicate the Gospel in relevant, creative ways. You'll gain practical experiences, such as developing and hosting youth conferences or interning at a local church or summer camp. Youth Ministry also is available as a minor or as part of a combination major.

Core Requirements for All Majors:
All students majoring in the Department of Theology are required to complete the following 24 credit hours:
- BIBL 309 - Hermeneutics
- BIBL 300-400 Old Testament (3 hours)
- BIBL 300-400 New Testament (3 hours)
- EDMN 101 - Models of Christian Ministry
- EDMN 421 - Communicating the Christian Faith
- THEO 201 - History of Christian Thought
- THEO 331 - Christian Theology I
- THEO 332 - Christian Theology II
- THEO 460 - Senior Seminar
The Youth Ministry major consists of the 24-hour core plus the following 24 hours, for a total of 48 credit hours:
- EDMN 102 - Foundations of Youth, Family, and Sports Ministry
- EDMN 234 - Evangelism of Youth
- EDMN 235 - Discipleship of Youth
- EDMN 321 - Creative Bible Teaching
- EDMN 331 - Models of Youth Ministry
- EDMN 430 - Christian Ministries Internship
- EDMN 434 - Leadership and Staff Dynamics
Youth Ministry minor requirements:
3 upper-level EDMN hours
