Payne, Nickles & Company - Payne, Nickles & Company, CPAs, through The Fund for Huron County (an Affiliate of The Community Foundation of Lorain County), is proud to announce it is again offering up to two (2) $1,500 scholarships for the 2011-2012 academic year. The scholarship is open to fourth or fifth year students with accounting majors, and is intended to assist the student in meeting the 150-hour requirement to take the CPA exam. Eligibility criteria: Residents of Erie/Huron, or contiguous counties, Ohio resident Minimum 2.8 grade point average Completion of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
American Institute of Certified Public Accountants - Liberal Arts degree holders of any regionally-accredited U.S. institution who wish to pursue a CPA certificate. Based on academic achievement, leadership and future career interests and are contingent upon acceptance in a graduate accounting program.
National Society of Accountants - Students majoring in accounting with a "B" or better GPA. Students enrolled in a degree program at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university. Must be undergraduate. U.S. or Canadian citizen attending a U.S. accredited business school, college or university.
Degree Directory Business Scholarship - Students who are pursuing business related academic majors.
Firelands Chapter OSCPA Scholarship Fund - Scholarship is open to fourth or fifth year applicants pursuing an undergraduate or graduate level accounting degree, and is intended to assist the student in meeting the 150-hour requirement to take the CPA exam. Eligibility criteria: Erie/Huron/Lorain, or contiguous counties, Ohio resident, U.S. Citizen, minimum cumulative overall GPA of 2.5 and accounting GPA of 3.0, completed application and FAFSA.
Sales & Marketing Executives of Cleveland - Students must be a greater Cleveland area resident (Cuyahoga, Geauga, Lake, Lorain, Medina, Portage, and Summit Counties), enrolled full time in a marketing or a sales discipline at an Ohio College or University, have a current minimum accumulative 3.0 grade point average, and also be in their final sophomore semester or be in the junior year when application is submitted.
