Education Scholarships

Kappa Delta Pi Society International - The Stark County members of this international honorary society of educators offer $800 in financial assistance to selected students who are engaged in the student teaching experience, have maintained a 3.0 GPA and have graduated from a Stark County high school.

 

Stark County Retired Teachers Association - Given to college students who will be juniors or seniors in the field of education and who have graduated from a high school within Stark County.

 

Canton Area Association for the Education of Young Children (CAAEYC) - Must be member of CAAEYC. Continuing their education in the field of early childhood, early childhood special education, child development or a related field. Must be a member of Stark County *Preferences will be given to those working and going to school in Stark County. Medina County Retired Teachers Association - Must be graduate of Medina County, Ohio high school and is presently enrolled as a full-time student in a college or university preparing to enter the education profession.

 

Kappa Delta Pi Louise Nader Khourey Foreign Language Scholarship - $800 in financial assistance to a selected student who is engaged in foreign language teaching, has maintained a 3.0 GPA, and is a graduate of a Stark County high school.

 

Delta Phi Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma - A $1000 scholarship is available for education students in Tuscarawas and Harrison counties. The student must be entering their last year of academic study.

 

John Gyles Education Awards - Must be American citizen or Canadian citizen. Minimum GPA of 2.7. Selected students will receive up to $3000.
